Local Veterinary Services
The SPCA cannot be held responsible for the health or temperament of any animal adopted from it. It is important to realize that the SPCA does not know the history of the animal and it strongly recommends that you, as the person adopting the animal, present your new pet to a participating veterinary clinic of your choice within (7) seven days of adoption for a courtesy visit. This visit will include a COURTESY GENERAL EXAMINATION AND INITIAL VACCINATION.
The Society and the veterinary clinic are not responsible for the fees of this visit beyond the initial examination.
