Susan Pynn and Nancy Keating are sisters, with a lifelong love of children, animals, literature and their beautiful island home. Susan Pynn is a professional writer, currently working in marketing and communications. A Puppy Story is her second published children's work.

A graphic artist for 25 years, Nancy Keating's evocative illustrations have appeared in several Newfoundland books for adults and children. A Puppy Story is her third illustrated children's book.
