A Puppy Story by local author Susan Pynn (4-8 years)

A delightful story about a young girl, Laura Lou who desperately wants a puppy. She promises her Mom & Dad he will be the best mannered puppy - but who knew puppies could be so unruly. Laura Lou knows it is up to her to teach this puppy to be the best puppy he can be. Together they learn to turn this bundle of trouble into the best mannered member of the family- well almost!

I Am the Dog I Am the Cat by Donald Hart (ages 4-8 years)

A conversation between a dog and a cat shows the reader the characteristics of each animal. The illustrations are big and beautiful.

Mrs. Katz and Tush by Patricia Polacco (ages 4-8 years)

The adoption of an abandoned kitten starts a wonderful friendship between an elderly lady Mrs. Katz and your young neighbour Larnel.

Belle's Journey by Marilynn Reynolds (ages 5-8 years)

This is a wonderful story about a young girl and her old mare named Belle. They get caught in a blizzard however Belle's determination saves them and shows that the horse is a usefuland trusted friend.
